ESF Information Memo 19/21 - difficulty in making direct contact
This memo reminds projects of the expectation that all ESF projects are easily accessible by both phone and email.
Dear Project Promoter,
We are aware that, in recent weeks, a small number of participants have had difficulty in making direct contact with some projects.
The Education Training Inspectorate has reported similar difficulties.
Whilst we appreciate the vast majority of project staff may be working remotely, this does not negate the expectation that all ESF projects are easily accessible by both phone and email. Indeed, all projects are currently submitting claims on the basis that activity is happening as normal.
We will continue to monitor this situation but will have no choice but to take action should these issues continue.
In addition, projects must ensure that these forms of communication are fully operational throughout the summer period unless for public holiday closure periods.
