ESF Information Memo 18/22 - New Validation Rule on ESIF Database requiring the upload of a PTP before a record can be saved

Advice on New Validation Rule on ESIF Database requiring the upload of a PTP before a record can be saved. (published 20 September 2022)

Project Promoter

At the last Keeping in touch meetings held on 8 and 9 of June 2022, we discussed the importance of the PTP and the timely uploading of the PTP onto the ESIF Database.

New rules for Data validation were introduced from 2021. ESF Information Memo 23/21 addresses the quality of data and uploading of PDP’s/IRI’s etc.

To ensure the accuracy of data reported in the AIR at the end of the 2014 – 2020 programme the Performance team have created a Legacy team who will be contacting projects requesting the upload of PTP/IRIs etc for Call 2 records currently held on the database.

A modification has been added to the ESIF database which will only allow you to save and submit a new record if a valid PTP has been uploaded to the database. This modification is effective from 15/09/22.

Please note that this modification will require that a PTP be uploaded to current Call 2 and 3 records that have been amended or viewed after 15/09/22 before they can be resubmitted.
