    Dear Project Promoter,

In March 2020, guidance was provided to projects on the recording of IRI and LTRI of into education and into employment for participants who had reached their respective observation points during the period of government COVID-19 restrictions.

Projects were advised that if they were unable to contact participants, employers or colleges at that time they should take no action – paragraph 4 of ESF Information Memo 12/20 refers. The memo also indicated that Project Delivery Branch would provide further instructions on the retrospective recording of participant’s who could not be contacted at that time.

With the lifting of some restrictions in schools and colleges and places of employment, it may be an opportune time to see if any further results could be evidenced and recorded. You are therefore being asked to re-visit those participants who could not be contacted during the restriction period and update their records accordingly.

    Regards,

    Kathleen McStravick
    Project Delivery Branch
