Step Up Case Study – College Connect+ - From setbacks to Step Up: resilience, achievement, and a future in Uniformed Protective Services
College Connect Step Up case studies allow readers to hear from people who have been supported by the Step Up funded projects.
The participant has had to overcome many barriers. During his GCSE years he had to take a lot of time out of school due to being diagnosed with a brain tumor and subsequently undergone major surgery.
He was a diligent student on the college connect class, achieving a vocational qualification as well as essential skills level 2 and secured a place on his chosen course.
