Step Up Case Study – WRAP - From shy starter to NVQ Level 2 applicant (Nail Technology)
Focus on unemployed or economically women. The case studies show the positive impact which the support provides for women in building confidence, refreshing skills, gaining qualifications and work experience and to create progression pathways to further and higher education and/or employment.
The participant was initially extremely shy and nervous when she joined the nail and beauty-taster course. Throughout she grew from strength to strength each week. English was her second language and she managed extremely well. She completed the course and is going to apply for her NVQ Level 2 in Nail Technology.
