The focus is on providing financial support for people in higher education who are care experienced. The case studies show the positive effect this financial assistance has had on allowing recipients to continue with their study.

    Participant's story

    The participant said:

“The care experienced bursary has been a huge benefit to my studies at university, allowing me to work less and study more. I have also not had to resort to using a food bank since commencing my degree.

"The extra money has meant that I worry less about my finances and can spend more time and energy on important things like maintaining my first-class average and building a profile that will enable me to become a successful academic.”
