    Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week 2026
L-R Lauren McCoy, Citi Group, Sameera McMullen Citi Group Apprentice, Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald, Chloe Allen Citi Group Apprentice.

NI Apprenticeship Week is a week-long series of events each year that showcases the benefits of apprenticeships across all sectors and regions of Northern Ireland. The program brings together local councils, employers, colleges, training providers, and community organisations to host information sessions, career fairs, and workshops highlighting apprenticeship opportunities.

In 2025, for example, over 60 public events took place across Northern Ireland as part of Apprenticeship Week. These events are open to any members of the public; students, parents, employers and current employees.

More people than ever participating in apprenticeships across the north ... to everyone – from students and parents to job seekers and employers – and serve to connect potential apprentices with training programs and hiring businesses.

If you are an employer or business interested in holding an event during NI Apprenticeship Week please contact our team on ApprenticeWeek@economy-ni.gov.uk
