The standards expected of the Recognised Professional Body (RPB) are set out in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which covers matters such as the granting and maintenance of practitioner authorisations, handling of complaints, ethics and professional standards, security and caution, and the exchange and disclosure of information to both the Department and the Secretary of State.
