    This list sets out organisations applicants should normally consider when identifying prescribed organisations. It is not exhaustive. Applicants must identify any additional bodies whose interests may be affected by the proposed vesting.

    Central Government Departments

    • Department for Infrastructure (DfI)
    • Department of Finance – Land & Property Services (LPS)
    • Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA)
    • Department for Communities (where relevant)

    Local Government

    • Relevant District Council(s)

    Electricity and Regulatory Bodies

    • Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (or relevant electricity licence holder)
    • Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation (Utility Regulator)

    Statutory Undertakers (Utilities)

    • Northern Ireland Water
    • Gas network operators
    • Telecommunications operators

    Transport and Infrastructure Authorities

    • Department for Infrastructure – Roads
    • Department for Infrastructure – Rivers

    Environmental and Heritage Bodies

    • Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA)
