    Collaboration and knowledge exchange

    Previous DETI research on international best practice has highlighted that advanced innovation policy has moved towards supporting collaboration and knowledge exchange – known as open innovation.

    The NI Economic Strategy subsequently included a commitment to assess the potential of the NI Science Park to evolve into an Open Innovation Centre. To progress this, DETI appointed Professors Stephen Roper and Nola Hewitt-Dundas to look at Developing an Open Innovation Centre in NI.
