Information for persons intending to participate in the first allocation round under the Northern Ireland Renewable Electricity Price Guarantee scheme.
Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald has today published a Notice of Intention in respect of the Renewable Electricity Price Guarantee (REPG) scheme.
The Notice relates to projects that may seek to participate in the first REPG allocation round and is intended to support compliance with paragraph 31(b) of the European Commission's Guidelines on State Aid for Climate, Environmental Protection and Energy 2022 (CEEAG).
Publication of the notice means that developers who meet the relevant requirements may commence works, at their own commercial risk, without automatically losing the possibility of participating in the first REPG allocation round solely because works began before an award of support.
This Notice marks another important milestone in the implementation of the Renewable Electricity Price Guarantee (REPG) scheme.
