Research covering views of Northern Ireland SMEs towards environmental and social impacts has been developed by Queen’s University Belfast in conjunction with the Enterprise Research Centre (ERC).

This report presents headline results from the second wave of the Business Futures survey, including 115 Northern Ireland micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The research examines business priorities of Northern Ireland SMEs and compares with those from the rest of the UK. The analysis focuses in on the environmental practices of SMEs in recognition of the government’s net zero emission targets, as well as the domain of social responsibility, including efforts to create social benefits for people and communities.
