At close of applications:

• there were 1,393,023 verified applications for the NI High Street Scheme, of which 1,369,632 (98 per cent) were made online and 23,391 (2 per cent) were made by telephone.
• of the 1,393,023 verified applications, 721,772 (52 per cent) were from females and 671,251 (48 per cent) were from males.
• of the 1,393,023 verified applications, 1,203,585 (86 per cent) were from persons without a disability and 189,438 (14 per cent) were from persons with a disability.
• of the 1,393,023 verified applications, 379,653 (27 per cent) were from those aged 18-34, 353,251 (25 per cent) were from those aged 35-49, 355,439 (26 per cent) were from those aged 50-64 and 304,680 (22 per cent) were from those aged 65 and over.
• the number of verified applications with a valid postcode¹ ranged from 244,185 (18 per cent) in Belfast Local Government District to 85,211 (6 per cent) in Fermanagh and Omagh Local Government District.
