    The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2017 came into operation on 1 April 2017. These regulations were due to expire on 31 March 2018.  However, their effect has been extended by a further year to 31 March 2019 through the Northern Ireland (Regional Rates and Energy) Act 2018.The Impact Assessments and screening forms on the continuation of the tiered tariffs and cap introduced in 2017 can be viewed below.
