Heat pump sector in Northern Ireland

The Department for the Economy (DfE) commissioned KPMG to conduct a market survey and desktop research to assess the current capacity of the heat pump sector in Northern Ireland and provide recommendations for future growth.The research aimed to enhance the understanding of the existing state of the sector and identify actions that could support and promote a sustained, long term growth plan. The report’s findings will help to inform decarbonised heat policy to support the transition to net-zero, capitalising on the full potential of the Northern Ireland heat pump sector.
