Gas and Electricity Network Co-Optimisation considering Future Energy Net Zero Pathways Uncertainties in Northern Ireland (GeOpSySNI)

The Department for the Economy funded the University of Manchester (UoM) to undertake independent research to develop a model of the current Northern Ireland gas and electricity networks. This followed the receipt of a research proposal from UoM as part of the department’s June 2023 Open Call for research proposals. This report summarises the work undertaken, including the methodology, detailed results and conclusions.
