The Student Support Regulations provide for support for students undertaking designated higher education courses.
The Regulations set out the rules for matters on:
- personal eligibility
- course eligibility
as well as the assessment methodology and different rates that apply for different student support products including:
- fee loans
- maintenance loans
- various grant products.
Also amending regulations are made annually to incorporate fee rate changes and any other changes required. Each set of amending regulations is screened individually.
