The Energy Strategy Targets and Metrics Monitoring reports aim to provide a comprehensive and accessible overview of key statistics and information relating to the targets and metrics associated with the Energy Strategy for Northern Ireland
The statistical reports collate management information, official statistics and accredited official statistics into a single coherent source. Data are obtained from producers such as the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) and the Office for National Statistics (ONS) among others.
The methodology report outlines the current definitions, data sources and methodologies for each target and metric within the Energy Strategy for Northern Ireland.
The interactive dashboard is based on data available as at 16 December 2025.
