DfE Covid-19 Response Business Plan 2020-21

This plan was approved by the Minister for the Economy on 4 June 2020. The plan outlines the work being carried out by the department to limit the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic for our businesses and workforce alongside our pre-existing commitments which we will strive to deliver to help support the Northern Ireland economy.

A quarter 3 progress update was agreed by the departmental board on 21 January and published on 10 February.

Strategic objectives

The Plan is structured under the Department’s strategic objectives and is divided into seven “Business as Usual” objectives and four “Covid-19” objectives. It contains a total of 118 key actions that DfE will aim to deliver during 2020/21.

The Covid-19 section contains 68 actions, while the Business as Usual section contains 50. The reported quarter 3 Red/Amber/Green (RAG) statuses across both sections are outlined below.
