Hamilton launches Deloitte Enterprise Integration Academy

The programme will see 20 graduates undertake an intensive ten week training programme delivered by Belfast Metropolitan College.

The Minister said: “Through my Department’s Assured Skills programme, Government has developed a close relationship with industry so that we are responsive to the skills needs of companies. In the ever changing technology sector, companies have to keep pace with the development of new systems and working methods. Companies such as Deloitte have challenged us to deliver the skilled people to meet the demands of their business. I believe that the success of the Assured Skills programme clearly demonstrates that Northern Ireland has the pool of talent to meet the needs of our employers, both now and in the and future.”

Enterprise iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) is one of the biggest, exciting and fast growing areas in the technology world today. iPaaS is a platform for building and deploying integrations within the cloud and between the cloud and enterprise, through which integration becomes a simplified process, allowing users to easily unify applications, services, systems and databases across their enterprise.

The training will have a strong focus on new areas such as data structures & concepts, mulesoft and integration engineering. On completion of the course the graduates will be interviewed for a position with Deloitte.

The Minister continued: “This Academy is an excellent example of how we can help provide our graduates with the skills for employment and which meet the requirements of local companies.”

We are delighted to be working with the Department for the Economy to launch the Deloitte Enterprise Integration Academy and continuing to help grow the skills base in Northern Ireland.”

Applications to the Deloitte Enterprise Integration Academy will close on Friday 7 October at 4pm and the training programme for successful applicants will start on 28 November 2016.
