    Economy Minister Diane Dodds said:

“I would encourage businesses to avail of the support available from Invest Northern Ireland and InterTradeIreland to help them prepare for EU Exit. There are online Brexit tools, webinars, Invest NI’s EU Resilience Tool and EU Exit support vouchers.

“There are many things that businesses can do now to ensure they are ready for the challenges and opportunities from 1 January 2021. For example, they can review their supply chains, map out transport routes for goods, review their data flows and sign up for the UK Government’s free Trader Support Service.

“I am continuing to press for solutions to meet business needs in relation to the issues where there remains uncertainty.”

Further information and support is available on the Invest NI Prepare for EU Exit page and InterTradeIreland's Brexit Supports and Advice page.

Invest NI offers a range of support services to companies including the nibusinessinfo website, information workshops, an online assessment tool, a Brexit preparation grant, and online tutorials which provide access to specialist advisers in people movement and immigration, preparing your data for EU Exit and VAT implications.

InterTradeIreland’s Brexit Advisory Service provides financial support and professional support on customs, supply chain, rules of origin with online learning supplemented by specialist webinars aimed at the cross-border market.
