Potential for extending the natural gas network in Northern Ireland

This consultation paper has been informed by a feasibility study “Potential Extension of Natural Gas and Related Services in Northern Ireland” which was jointly commissioned by the Department and the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation (the Utility Regulator) to determine the technical and economic feasibility of bringing gas to additional towns in the North-West and West of Northern Ireland.
