JobStart Scheme - create jobs for people out of work
The JobStart Scheme helps employers in Northern Ireland create job opportunities for people who are currently out of work, in receipt of working age benefits and wanting to start or return to employment.
It’s a great way to bring new talent into your business while giving someone valuable workplace experience. The scheme is open to people at all levels, whether they’re just starting out or getting back into work.
Employers can receive funding to cover the relevant National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage (based on age group) for up to 25 hours per week, along with employer National Insurance and minimum pension contributions.*
