This research aimed to measure the size and scale of social enterprises and the Community and Voluntary sector in Northern Ireland, their contribution to the Northern Ireland economy, and the potential of social enterprises and Community and Voluntary organisations to grow into larger, more established social enterprises with export potential.
This report sets out the findings from a research project commissioned by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) and the Department for Social Development (DSD) to examine the ‘third sector’ in Northern Ireland.
