  • Supply-Use Tables NI - previous research

    Topics:
    • Statistics and economic research,
    • Economic output statistics

    Date published: 10 June 2008

An experimental set of Supply-Use Tables was compiled by external accountants in 2007 to establish the economic impact of tourism.

This exercise covered the whole of the NI economy, was consistent with UK regional accounts and made full use of the available Northern Ireland business and social survey data sets, public expenditure information, administrative sources and UK national and regional data. However, it has not been possible to validate fully or update these tables, outside of tourism, due to key data gaps.
