Social Enterprise Sector Research – Northern Ireland

The Department for the Economy (DfE) recognises how important the work the social enterprise sector does, not just Northern Ireland economy but for our local communities. This is why DfE have commissioned research to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Social Enterprise Sector within Northern Ireland.
This research will be critical in successful policy development, inform key decision making and delivery options for social enterprise development in the future.
The Centre for Enterprise, Environment and Development Research (CEEDR), Middlesex University, London, in conjunction with Social Enterprise UK, Queens University and BMG research to undertake the collection and analysis of the data with the findings published in a report in 2025.
