SIP 3.3 - trust deeds (Scotland)

A Trust Deed is a voluntary deed granted by a debtor whereby the debtor conveys all or part of his estate to a named Trustee to be administered for the benefit of creditors and to effect the settlement of debts in whole or in part. The Trustee may seek to make the Trust Deed protected by following the relevant statutory procedures.
