Quality Assurance Guidelines for the Provision and Delivery of Career Guidance in Northern Ireland
Date published:
The Quality Assurance Guidelines aim to support all organisations delivering careers guidance in Northern Ireland. The aim is that all organisations delivering careers guidance adopt the measures within them and as a result, the consistency and quality of careers guidance provision to clients improves throughout the careers system in NI
The Quality Assurance Guidelines have been developed by a Steering Group representing DfE’s Careers Service, Higher Education institutions, and Further Education colleges
At the heart of the Guidelines is a Quality Assurance Framework which sets out six key measures for organisations to adopt. These measures are designed to be achievable for all organisations, regardless of size or resources, and focus on continuous improvement and accountability.
By adopting these Guidelines, organisations can help raise standards and ensure that individuals across Northern Ireland receive the support they need to make informed decisions about their education, training, and career pathways.
