    The Department for International Trade (DIT) is seeking views on the UK’s current trading arrangements with South Korea, how they may be improved and the challenges faced. The information provided will help inform the UK government approach for negotiations on a new enhanced trade deal with South Korea in 2023.The enhanced deal aims to boost bi-lateral trade between the two countries as the UK looks to increase trade with the Asia/Pacific region.

    Call for input

    On 9 December 2022, the Department for International Trade launched an eight-week call for input asking businesses and the public for their views ahead of the start of negotiations.

    The call for input will close on 3 February 2023.
