International evidence review - targeted and effective careers support interventions

In 2023 the Department for the Economy commissioned DMH Associates to conduct research comparing the careers support services of other small advanced economies (SAE).The countries that participated were Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Scotland and Wales. New Brunswick, in Canada, and England were also included to provide additional perspective.The research was led by Associate Professor Deirdre Hughes OBE, a central figure in advancing professional careers guidance globally.
