The Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment commissioned fDi Intelligence Ltd to assess the future prospects for attracting high value inward investment to NI.  This is a wide-ranging study which includes:

  • an assessment of the value added of FDI sub-sectors
  • detailed FDI forecasts up to 2015
  • the potential impact of a 12.5 per cent Corporation Tax rate on FDI jobs
  • mapping the local research base for R&D-focused FDI
  • reviewing NI’s competitiveness for key FDI sectors
