    The factsheets show the number of enrolments within each Essential Skills subject, while the bulletins provide further detail into the characteristics of those enrolling and performance statistics for the Essential Skills programme, since the start of the strategy in 2002. 

    This Statistical bulletin initially published on 29th November 2012 has been amended to include an 1,908 additional enrolments that were previously not included in the analysis due to a programming error.The revision has resulted in total enrolment figures to be increased from 299,503 to 301,411. Please note all enrolment figures within the bulletin have seen subject to revision.
