This study provides an analysis of the economic impact of higher education institutions (HEIs) and their students on the Northern Ireland economy. The report’s primary aim was to assess the economic impact of Northern Ireland’s HEIs as businesses and the higher education sector as an industry - in terms of the jobs, output and GVA generated.
