Careers Occupational Information Unit - Spotlight on young women in STEM

The Careers Service, in conjunction with DfE Economic Social Inclusion Branch, has published "Spotlight on Young Women in STEM", the latest in a series of subject-based career guides. This publication invites you to meet five young women who are breaking barriers in the world of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). In this guide, they share their unique experiences and perspectives with you - from the highs, to the challenges they have faced along the way (and how they overcame them).
The publication showcases the benefits of choosing STEM subjects and pursuing STEM career pathways. It also contains information on entry routes; advice to help young women on their STEM journeys; as well as interesting facts about STEM careers; and resources to help with further research.
