The business journey through year one of EU Exit

The Department for the Economy commissioned independent research to assess the impact of the first year of EU exit on businesses in Northern Ireland (NI). The researcher engaged with a broad mix of companies across NI to understand what impact leaving the EU has had on the way they go about doing business. 40 businesses participated in the research to understand what challenges they faced, how that affected performance and what, if any, opportunities they experienced from the new trading environment.
