Fully funded by the Department for the Economy, Southern Regional College (SRC) is offering an opportunity for 13 individuals to receive industry advised training in Legal Administration which will provide them with the skills to take up potential legal administration roles with one of six participating companies in Newry and the surrounding area.

Successful participants will attend a 10-week training course delivered by SRC at their dedicated training facility in Newry where they will study an OCN NI Level 3 Certificate in Business Administration Skills.

Welcoming the Academy, the Minister said: “I am pleased to announce this collaborative Assured Skills Legal Administration Academy at Southern Regional College.

“This academy delivered on a part-time basis at Southern Regional College will provide an opportunity for people who are unable to avail of a full-time course to upskill or reskill, gaining a qualification in Business Administration Skills which will give them a great opportunity to take up a position in legal administration.”

Lee Campbell, Principal & Chief Executive of Southern Regional College said: "I am delighted to launch this innovative Assured Skills Academy in Legal Administration, fully funded by the Department for the Economy.

"This original programme offers a unique opportunity for aspiring legal professionals to achieve an OCN NI Level 3 Certificate in Business Administration Skills through flexible, part-time study. It has been designed to open doors to valid career paths and advancement in the legal sector. We're not just offering a qualification; we're providing a pathway to success. I encourage anyone wishing to start or elevate their career in legal administration to consider this Assured Skills Academy.”
