    Economy Minister Gordon Lyons has congratulated Sir Michael Ryan CBE on his appointment as the Industry Chair of the Aerospace Growth Partnership

    The Minister said:

    “I want to congratulate Sir Michael on his new role as the Industry Chair of the Aerospace Growth Partnership. This appointment is recognition of his expertise and experience in the aerospace sector. I know he will carry on the good work of his predecessor Colin Smith CBE who I wish all the best for the future.

    "The Northern Ireland Aerospace and wider supply chain contribute significantly to UK’s industry success and we are recognised worldwide for the development of innovative technology for the aerospace, defence, security and space sector. I am sure Sir Michael will take the industry into the next stage of development.”
