    Consultation description

The consultation seeks the views of stakeholders on the change in DEL’s methodology of allocating OU students to match the HESA methodology.

The current DEL methodology treats the Open University as a wholly English institution, whereas HESA’s new methodology splits the Open University among England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland depending on where the national centre is based.

Responses will be crucial in informing the approach adopted by DEL and will affect the bulletins published from February 2016 onwards
