Closed consultation Draft Weights and Measures (Food)(Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015

Summary

The Department has published a consultation paper seeking stakeholders views on a proposed amendments to Northern Ireland's Weights and Measures legislation that are necessary to remove overlaps with the EU Regulation on Food Information to Consumers (1169/2011) (FIC) and to bring enforcement of the weights and measures requirements of FIC within the existing weights and measures enforcement framework.
