Ulster University Magee Taskforce
The Ulster University Magee Taskforce was launched by then-Minister Murphy on 22 March 2024, to develop and oversee an action plan to expand Ulster University’s Magee campus in Derry~Londonderry to 10,000 students.
Background
The expansion is a priority action committed to by the Northern Ireland Executive in the New Decade New Approach agreement and Programme for Government 2024-27.
The taskforce was tasked with developing an action plan with associated timescales and approximate costings to achieve 10,000 students at the Magee campus.
