    William Leathem

    William Leathem is a former elected DUP member and former Mayor of Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, where he served as Chair of both the Development Committee and Governance and Audit Committee. He also ran as a DUP candidate in the 2019 Local Government elections and has held the post of Treasurer of his local DUP branch. He is presently the Chair of USEL (Ulster Supported Employment Limited), remunerated at £275 per board meeting and additional hours paid at a fixed rate, and Vice-Chair of the Arts Council NI (remunerated at £3,535.00 per annum). He is a former member of the District Policing Partnership and a former Board Member of both the Ulster-Scots Agency and Libraries NI. William has varied audit and governance experience, project management experience, and financial management skills, which he will bring to this role.

    Amanda Logan

    Amanda is an experienced human rights investigator and has successfully progressed many high profile cases on behalf of the Presiding Coroner and Police Ombudsman. Amanda has rolled out many initiatives, including the introduction of new IT systems and policies, to ensure effective Article 2 compliant investigations. As an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations since 2014, Mrs Logan will bring accomplished communication skills to this role.

    As a serving public servant, she will not be paid the Consumer Council board member remuneration at this time.
