Belfast Metropolitan College

Mr Stephen Dallas

Stephen has extensive experience supporting non-traditional learners, particularly young people. This passion was nurtured in the 1990’s through several volunteering roles.  In 2001 he completed his Professional Youth Work Degree and took several roles in the sector. In 2012 Stephen moved to a senior manager role in statutory services with responsibility for Youth Services.  Between 2017 and 2020 he was EA Regional Head of Youth where he supported over 10,000 young people each year, managed over 200 staff delivering across 12 Curriculum Teams and he managed an annual budget of £10million for youth services, both locally and regionally. 

Stephen has extensive skills in strategic planning, leading effective services, HR and budget management.  In 2020 Stephen decided to return to the third sector as a CEO of a small youth work charity focus on tackling the digital divide.   

Stephen is an advocate for personal and professional development. He has completed a BA in English, Master’s in Social Research and will complete a Master’s in Business Administration in April 2022. 

Stephen was recently appointed to the NICVA Executive Committee and Co3 Board of Directors (both non-remunerated).

Mrs Lauren McAteer

With 15 years’ experience in Northern Ireland’s Retail and Hospitality sectors at Management and Executive level, Lauren has extensive Operational, Strategic HR and Organisational Development experience.  Employed in one of Northern Ireland’s most progressive and successful Hospitality Groups for a period of 12 years until 2021, Lauren has also developed multidisciplinary expertise to include the areas of Health and Safety and GDPR.  She has been the recipient of Awards from the Institute of Hospitality and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Lauren is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), she also holds Associate membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and professional membership of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Having recently established as a Freelance Consultant and Coach, Lauren is passionate about people development, enhancing workplaces and organisational cultures. She also volunteers as a CIPD Mentor and sits as Trustee on The Gallaher Trust, which is an Independent Charity focusing on local Employment and Skills Development.

Mr Seamus McGoran

Seamus has over 35 years’ experience working as a public servant within Health and Social Care, having retired from the service in the summer of 2021.

He graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in 1986 with a BA Honours Degree in Italian and spent the first 10 years of his career working as a Human Resources practitioner. He has been a Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development since he gained his professional qualifications with distinction in 1992.

Seamus worked at executive level for 25 years with the last 2 years undertaking the role of Chief Executive of the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, which is one of the largest employers in Northern Ireland. During this time he led the organisation through a challenging period of industrial action and through the Covid-19 pandemic.

Seamus does not hold any other public appointments and he is looking forward to working in further education which has been a passion of his throughout his career.

Ms Yvonne Murphy

Yvonne has 30 years’ experience of supporting and empowering young people gained in the information and education sectors. From 2009–2020 she was College Librarian of Keble College, Oxford. She oversaw all aspects of the College’s information portfolio. Work undertaken included a number of successful student-focussed and technology driven initiatives. She sat on Academic Committee, represented Keble on external committees and served as mentor for new librarians. 

From 1995–2009, she managed the Northern Ireland Political Collection at Belfast’s Linen Hall Library. During her time there, the Collection expanded from 80,000–250,000 items and she developed the Troubled Images project on the graphics of the conflict. The related exhibition toured in 3 continents and the project was awarded the Christopher Ewart Biggs Award for promoting peace between Ireland and Britain. Earlier in her career, she worked at Chatham House and taught English at Methodist College.

Yvonne has extensive fundraising experience, has spoken internationally on professional issues and has been awarded International and Voluntary Visitor Scholarships by the US Government. She is the first librarian to undertake the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction and is a member of the IOD and the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.

Northern Regional College

Mrs Louise Crilly

Louise is a qualified solicitor. She started in private practice 25 years ago.

For nearly 20 years Louise has worked in the public sector in Northern Ireland.

Louise is a senior lawyer in the Departmental Solicitor’s Office. She has extensive experience of advising on complex matters, training and mentoring, and has a particular interest in effective governance.

Louise is currently an Independent Board Member for the Labour Relations Agency. She is not remunerated for this role.

Louise holds no other public appointments.

Mrs Pauline Martin

Pauline has over 20 years’ experience working in the public service in Northern Ireland. In her role, as Head of Corporate Services in Education, she led and managed the delivery of a range of direct services to schools and corporate functions including IT and information governance.  

Pauline has a BA in History and Philosophy of Science, an MSc in Computer Science and Applications and is passionate about education and life-long learning. She holds professionally recognised accreditation as a Chartered Manager (CMgr), Chartered IT Professional and Chartered membership of CIPD. 

Pauline currently holds a public position as a fee paid member for the Appeals Tribunal Service (remuneration £107.17 for a half-day session). 

Mr Gary McAllister

Gary is a former student of NRC. Having studied Sports Performance and Excellence, he progressed into a career in youth work with the Education Authority Youth Service. After several years with the Youth Service, he transitioned to Community Youth Work with a number of community groups in the Ballymena South area.

In 2017, Gary was a participant in the International Fund for Ireland's AMBIT programme. He spent 2 weeks in New York and Washington, exploring and sharing practices, programmes and policies which supported young people deemed to be "At Risk". Following his participation in the AMBIT programme, Gary continues to work closely with the International Fund for Ireland and the Washington Ireland Program.

Gary also sits on an Independent Advisory Group for the PSNI, providing constructive analysis and feedback on policing methods and policies cross Northern Ireland (non-remunerated, travel expenses only).

Mrs Denise McIlwaine

Denise currently works as a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. As a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) she provides HR support, coaching, advice and guidance to directors and managers. 

In 2015, Denise was appointed by the Lord Chief Justice’s office to the position of Lay Member on the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal panel (remuneration £166/day pro-rata).

In 2016, Denise was appointed as a Department of Education representative member to the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education (NICIE) Board of Directors, (non-remunerated, travel and subsistence expenses only). Within this position she was also active as a sub-committee member for the Finance and General Purposes Staffing Committee, monitoring financial performance and ensuring that essential systems and controls were in place for the organisation.

Previously as a retail manager, Denise gained valuable financial, operational and auditing experience. 

Denise currently volunteers at Riverside Theatre.

Mr Raymond McKernan

Raymond McKernan has considerable experience in digital strategy and delivery within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on change management, innovation and managing governance.

Raymond has over 14 years’ experience within the financial services sector working across several regulatory jurisdictions including the UK, Ireland and internationally.  He has worked in a wide range of roles including marketing, project management and delivery, journey management, data analysis, product governance and proposition development.

In recent years Raymond has undertaken a number of mentoring roles including acting as a voluntary member of the local Partners in Business programme. He has a BSc in Management and Information Systems and Diploma in Digital Marketing from the digital marketing institute.

Raymond has recently been inducted as a member of the NatWest Group Talent Academy leadership programme, and volunteers as a member of several employee-led networks across the financial sector with a focus on environmental and ‘green’ initiatives as well as charity fundraising.

Mr Simon Shevlin

Simon is a business and technology transformation expert working in financial services for Salesforce, a global technology leader. An industry veteran, Simon has a wealth of experience working with business leaders as they undertake enterprise organisational transformations across people, process and technology with a focus on stakeholder centricity. 

An advocate of 'doing well and doing good', Simon mentors and coaches working professionals as they re-skill and successfully move into technology led careers.

Simon has been a voluntary member of the board of directors of a large credit union since 2016 where he specialises in driving strategic business growth while championing financial inclusivity and equitable access to financial services for all. 

In July 2021 he was appointed as a lay panel member of the Investigating Committee for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the independent regulatory body for nurses and midwives across the UK tasked with protecting the public and upholding trust in the nursing profession while championing the NMC values to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all.

Mr David Small

David Small is a career civil servant having recently retired as a Deputy Secretary in the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA). During his NICS career, David worked in the areas of housing, planning, business consultancy, agriculture and the environment.

He also served as Private Secretary to two successive Whitehall Ministers during the 1990’s, Conservative Malcolm Moss MP and Labour’s Lord Dubs, and, more recently, worked with a number of Northern Ireland Assembly Ministers.

Before retiring, David was Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Environment Agency. He also led the Environment Policy Group within DAERA, leading on a range of issues, including climate change, plastics, EU Exit and managing the impact of Covid. As Head of Group and a member of the DAERA Departmental Board, he was responsible for the full range of governance issues, including business planning, ensuring strong systems of  internal control and robust financial and risk management.

North West Regional College

Mrs Diane Creevy

Diane is a self-employed consultant while also holding non-executive director roles for Small to Medium Sized business. She is currently Chair of the Board of Age NI Enterprises Limited.

She is FCCA qualified, and holds an Honours degree in Economics and a Masters in Finance from Queens University, Belfast.

Diane has over 20 years’ experience in strategic senior management roles within the public sector, manufacturing, financial services and auditing.  Diane was previously the Finance and Personnel Director for Waterways Ireland, the largest of the North South Bodies. This role also covered areas of ICT and Corporate Services and she was the lead officer responsible for corporate governance in the Body.

Before joining Waterways Ireland, she held roles in PwC, the former Quinn Group and for a short period ran her own consulting business. During her many varied roles Diane has delivered strategic projects, supported restructuring of businesses, while ensuring governance is maintained throughout.  She has also focused on driving process improvement, efficiencies and introducing programmes of digital transformation.

Mrs Sian Fisher

Sian is a practising lawyer and a member of the Bar of Northern Ireland, having been called to the Bar in 2008. In her 13 years as a lawyer, Sian has gained a broad range of experience across many practice areas, with a particular focus on civil litigation and public law. During this time, Sian has advised and represented private individuals, companies and local authorities in a range of legal disputes.

She was awarded a Master’s in Human Rights Law in 2007, with a particular focus on issues relevant to Northern Ireland and transitional justice. During her Master’s degree Sian’s thesis was awarded a prize from the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission.

Sian is a PhD candidate at Queen’s University Belfast.

Mrs Mary Gormley

Mary is a qualified Chartered Accountant, who has over 30 years’ experience working in the private and public sectors, predominantly in economic development, job creation, business support and engagement.

A member of Invest NI’s senior management team, she is currently the investment agency’s Regional Development Manager. She has previously held a number of roles across the organisation including in Corporate Finance, Regional Office Management (North West region and Western region), European Regional Development Funding and more recently as its Operational Lead for the delivery of a number of the Department of the Economy’s Covid Emergency Schemes.

Mary holds a BA in Business Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies and has previously served as a member of the Board of Governors of 2 local primary schools.

Mary does not hold any other public appointments.

Mr Kieran Kennedy MBE

Kieran has over 40 years’ experience in the textile manufacturing and social enterprise sectors in key positions, most notably as Managing Director of O’Neills Irish International Sports Company Limited, before retiring in December 2021.

He has a track record of driving significant improvements in product innovation, customer service, efficiency, IT and business transformation.

Kieran was appointed MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in June 2021, for services to the economy during the pandemic, as a result of the pivot he made to scrubs manufacturing to support the Health trusts in Northern Ireland.

He is also Chairman of 21 Training which promotes apprenticeships in the Northwest.

Kieran is voluntary Chair of Strabane Business Improvement District (BID) which helps local business by, supporting, promoting, improving and attracting visitors and new business to the town centre.

He joined the Board of Invest NI in March 2020 (remuneration amounts to £12,768 per annum) and was appointed by DTI to the Manufacturing Trade Advisory Group in August of the same year.

In 2019 he was awarded the Global Ireland Award for services to Irish enterprise by the Irish Consulate General in Boston, USA.

Mrs Jennifer McKeever

Jennifer is the Managing Director in the Airporter coach service based in Derry/Londonderry since starting the business 25 years ago. She held the role of President of the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and has served on the Board of Londonderry Chamber since 2013 (non-remunerated).

She has been involved in Economic Development in her work with Chamber of Commerce and in the development of skills for the Tourism and Hospitality industry in her own role in Airporter, including as Chair of Tourism and Hospitality Skills as part of the Education and Skills Delivery Partnership with Derry and Strabane District Council (non-remunerated).

In addition she is a Visiting Professor at Ulster University (non-remunerated).

Jennifer has a BA from Carleton University, Ottawa.

Mr Brian O’Neill

Brian is the Director of Development and Enterprise at Enterprise North West, a leading enterprise agency that specialises in business support, economic development and social enterprise development in the North West of Ireland.

He previously worked for an American multinational engineering company, fulfilling a number of roles prior to joining Enterprise North West.

Brian is actively involved in the economic development agenda across the North West and to support ongoing wider engagement with enterprise stakeholders he has held a number of strategic positions within local, regional and national bodies and organisations. These include North West representative on the Northern Ireland Social Enterprise Stakeholder Steering Group, Co-Chair and Member of the DCSDC Community Plan ‘Entrepreneurship and Enterprise’ Thematic Group and member of the Business Engagement Panel for Derry City and Strabane.

As an experienced business consultant, Brian specialises in Business Planning and Strategy, Social Enterprise, Coaching, Entrepreneurship, Governance, Strategic Planning and Partnership Working. He has a wide range of experience working on boards and he is currently a voluntary member on the Board of Directors of two local social enterprises as well as the national economic and physical regeneration body, Development Trusts Northern Ireland.

Mrs Charlene Shongo

Charlene has over 10 years’ experience working within Strategic Management, Commercial and Marketing roles within the Aviation industry.  Charlene was employed as Airport General Manager and Accountable Manager at City of Derry Airport before taking up a strategic leadership role within the Healthcare sector, as Emergency Planner.  Charlene has extensive experience working at strategic level, with excellent leadership skills and experience of strategic oversight and governance.  

Charlene graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree before completing a Master’s of Science degree in Communication, specialising in Strategic Management and Marketing from Queens University Belfast in 2004.  Charlene obtained a First-Class (Hons) in Business Management from Michael Smurfit School of Business, UCD in 2009. In 2015, she attended the William J Clinton Leadership Institute at Queens University Belfast where she successfully completed the Emerging Leaders Programme. In 2020, Charlene completed the Boardroom Apprentice Programme which enabled her to gain skills and experience to serve on a public or third sector board.  Charlene is a voluntary member of the Board of Directors on Developing Healthy Communities since September 2021. Charlene previously volunteered as a member of Women in Enterprise (2013-2014), Causeway Chamber of Commerce (2017 - 2018) and Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce (2014 – 2019).

Mr Fredrick (Fred) Smyth

Fred is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI) and an independent business consultant and mentor, with over 30 years’ experience in senior roles across commercial and corporate banking.

He also has significant strategic and governance experience with recent Diplomas in Digital Transformation, Governance and Strategy.

Fred is a current board member of the NI Guardian Ad Litem Agency (£4,004 pa), Include Youth and Viable Corporate Services Limited (both voluntary) and a former Board Member and Vice-Chair of the Simon Community.

Mr Peter Thompson

Peter has worked in a public sector role for the past 25 years and prior to that spent 4 years working in the Further Education sector.  He currently works for Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and is responsible for the tourism development and destination management remit, including the areas of marketing, product development, trade engagement and business support. This service also provides a balanced portfolio of major events across the borough and facilitates partnership with other event promoters.

In addition, Peter is responsible for the Council’s outdoor recreational spaces and the service manages six Holiday and Leisure Parks across the Borough.

His role prioritises economic development and the need to develop and sustain the region as a high quality recreational and visitor destination for the benefit of the area’s residents, the business sector and visitors hosted within our community

Southern Regional College

Miss Laura Milner

Laura Milner is an experienced professional and academic researcher, who has passed her PhD viva with minor corrections from Queens University Belfast (QUB).

Laura has a First Class Honours degree in Criminology (BA), as well as a Masters with Distinction in Criminal Justice (MSc), also from QUB. She has given numerous presentations, lectures, and tutored at QUB, within the academic disciplines of Criminology and Sociology.

Laura is a Senior Research Analyst for a digital safeguarding organisation.  

Laura also volunteers for the Northern Ireland Policing Board as an Independent Custody Visitor, wherein she visits custody suits weekly, speaking with and ensuring that Detained Persons rights are being met, and that the conditions of detention are appropriate - this role is non-remunerated, travel and subsistence expenses only.

Mr Gary McMurray

Gary McMurray is currently working as a Money and Debt Adviser, on a part-time basis, with Community Advice Craigavon having previously worked for AIB Bank for 35 years across a range of branch and departmental positions including as Regional Manager for the Bank’s branches in the greater Belfast area. Most recently Gary was Head of Governance and Assurance for the UK Operations and Business Governance unit within the Bank which included responsibility for risk management, governance oversight of third party providers, and Business Continuity Management including incident management. He was closely involved in supporting the Bank’s response to the COVID pandemic including implementation of remote working arrangements.

Gary holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and an MSc in Business Improvement both from the University of Ulster and is a member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland and previously served as Chair of the Institute’s Belfast Region.

Gary is also a Lay Council Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (remuneration £118 per meeting up to 4 hours duration / £235 per meeting longer than 4 hours duration). He has also served on the boards of a number of local voluntary organisations.

Dr Thomas Moore

Dr Thomas Moore is a former Principal and Chief Executive of a Further Education College, in England. He was previously the Academic Provost and Executive Dean for Health, Social Care and Education in a Welsh university, and has extensive experience in institutional strategy, partnership engagement, and curriculum development.

Dr Moore has also worked as Director of Regulation at a Welsh Regulatory Body for Nurses and Midwives and contributed to the wider NHS workforce development, in Wales, whilst working in the National Assembly for Wales. He has substantive experience at Board level in several organisations; he is a former member of Court at Lancaster University; Director of Colleges Scotland; Board Member of QAA Scotland; Member of Academic Council and Strategic Leadership Team of the University of Highlands and Islands (Scotland) and led a multidisciplinary Chief Officers Group across East Lancashire to form a Strategic Partnership and Alliance (ie NHS/ Schools/  Borough Council /Business Groups/ Universities) to develop and promote skills and  employment opportunities for students across the region. Dr Moore holds a Doctorate in Education Policy from Cardiff University.

Dr Moore is a Non-Executive Member of the Health and Social Care Board (NI) for which he receives £9,678 per annum.

Mrs Hilary Singleton OBE

Hilary Singleton is a former practising solicitor who spent her professional career in private practice. She has served since December 2014 as a member of the Local Government Staff Commission (daily remuneration £123). In April 2020, Hilary was appointed as a Board member of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (remuneration £6,202pa). She has served since March 2015 as a Board member of the International Fund for Ireland and she is also a Director of Mid-Armagh Community Network, a voluntary organisation.

Hilary previously served as Deputy Chair of the Health and Safety Executive of Northern Ireland (HSENI) and as Chair of HSENI’s Audit and Risk Committee. She was formerly Chair of the Southern Zone Steering Group of the Social Investment Fund which, through development of an innovative Strategic Plan for the Southern Zone, successfully addressed key issues of social and economic deprivation and employability. Hilary has also previously served as a member of the Compact Civil Advisory Panel, an appointment made by the former First and Deputy First Ministers, as a Board member of the Ulster-Scots Agency, chairing the Agency’s Education Committee, and she is a former school Governor.

Hilary was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours List for services to the Community Sector.

South West College

Dr Frances Campbell

Frances is an adaptable researcher with over ten years of progressive knowledge in the health, community and voluntary sector.

Since 2020 she has been working at ASH as their Data and Research lead. She has previously gained specialist experience within the field of Research and Impact Management for a local charity based in Northern Ireland. Having been responsible for the development, implementation and management of their organisational impact, outcomes and research activities in line with strategic work plans.

She is passionate about health research and improvement, with a strong focus on the potential benefit to people, emphasising the importance of maximising the use of data and resources to best measure progress and resultant impacts.

Frances has a PhD in Health Science, BSc in Sport Science from the University of Ulster, with strong skills in research design, data analysis, project management, strategic thinking, stakeholder relationship management and people management.

Frances does not hold any other public appointments.

Ms Elaine Grier

Elaine Grier is a qualified barrister both in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. She practised for over 10 years at the Bar of Ireland in commercial litigation before returning to Northern Ireland, and is currently employed by the Departmental Solicitor’s Office. 

She has lectured in the areas of insolvency law, contract law and insurance law for the Law Society of Ireland and the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Elaine is a voluntary member of the Research Ethics Committee for the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences at Queen’s University Belfast.  

She is also a member of the panel for the Personal Insolvency Practitioners Complaints Committee (this is a ROI Public Appointment - €150 per Committee meeting plus traveling expenses and subsistence).

Mrs Sandra Isherwood

Sandra is Principal of Jones Memorial Primary School in Enniskillen. She graduated from Stranmillis University in 1995 and worked as a Teacher and Vice Principal until 2004 when she was appointed Principal.

Sandra holds an MSc in Computer Based Learning and a PQH. Her interests span curriculum and learning for all abilities.

Sandra does not hold any other public appointments.

Mr Brian Ingram

Brian Ingram was the Director of Woodlands Juvenile Justice Centre within the Youth Justice Agency until his retirement in July 2020. Prior to this Brian has 25 years’ experience as a Senior Manager within the Northern Ireland Prison Service, working with vulnerable adults and young people, preparing for resettlement into community and developing life skills and qualifications for employment.

Brian is highly experienced in organisational development, corporate governance and leadership. He obtained an MSc in Criminology and awarded an OBE in the 2018 Queen’s New Year Honours in recognition for his work with vulnerable adults and young people.

Following his retirement Brian has continued in his role as chairperson of the Board of Governors for a local primary school and chairperson of a charity supporting women, men and children who are subjected to domestic abuse - both volunteering positions and without remuneration.

Ms Alana Jones-Campbell

Having commenced her career as a law lecturer, Alana headed two niche employment law solicitors’ practices as Senior Partner and was recognized by Chambers and Partners directory as “a leader in the field”. 

Alana has provided legal, mediation and consultancy services for a wide range of employers in the private, public and third sectors. She has gained valuable experience working in industry as a senior leader and is well attuned to economic issues and the challenges facing business having served as a Regional Councillor of the CBI in NI and a member of its Economic Affairs Committee. Alana has also served as a Board member for Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

Alana re-trained as an executive coach to pursue her passion for enabling others to learn, develop and succeed.  She provides effective, highly rated coaching and facilitation services and works with a range of organisations to enhance leadership, professional and personal effectiveness, and the employee experience.

Alana does not hold any other public appointments.

Ms Celine McCartan MBE

Celine has extensive experience as a public sector manager and is currently employed as Director of Corporate Services and Governance at Fermanagh District Council.

Celine has over 25 years’ experience leading professional teams in service areas including Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Audit, Learning and Development; Estates Management and Customer Services within the local government and further education sectors. 

In 2015, Celine was appointed MBE for services to further education in the Queen’s New Year Honours List. 

She holds an MBA and a number of other academic qualifications, as well as being a Fellow of Chartered Accountant Ireland (FCA) and Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Development (MCIPD). 

Celine has previously held a public appointment on the Management Committee of the NI Local Government Officers Superannuation Committee and has served on the Governing Bodies of the Loreto Grammar School and Omagh North Nursery School.

Celine does not hold any other public appointments.

Ms Anne McCleary

Anne is a lawyer by profession and is the Director of Social Security Policy and Legislation and Decision Making Services in Department for Communities.

She has over 25 years’ experience working as a lawyer, legal advisor, senior manager, leader and policy advisor in various roles in both the private and public sectors.  

Anne is President of Fusion Theatre, a charity which is a cross community youth theatre group which she co-founded in 2000.

Anne holds a LL.B and Certificate in Professional Legal Studies from QUB and a MBA from UU.

Anne does not hold any other public appointments.

Dr Lynsey Quinn

Dr Lynsey Quinn has an extensive background in governance, policy influencing and business development, spanning the private and public sectors as well as higher education across Ireland. 

Lynsey has led multi-disciplinary, international research teams across Europe, generating income diversification, business growth and organisational and policy development. 

In 2018 Lynsey was awarded a PhD in the area of Government policy and innovation in the small business sector. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the Institute of Directors in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Lynsey is a member of the Board of Governors for Barbour Nursery School in Lisburn.  In a voluntary capacity Lynsey is also an Area Director for Toastmasters International.

Lynsey does not hold any other public appointments.
