GBER Transparency Form

Date published: 20 July 2016

Transparency requirements

Article 9 (Paragraph 1) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 (the General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER)) requires that Member States publish information about any individual award of GBER aid, with a value of €500,000 or more, within 6 months of it’s being granted.

This information must be published on the European Commission’s transparency website. DfE State aid Unit (SAU) co-ordinates input of information regarding Northern Ireland GBER support over €500,000.

To ensure that inputs are accurate, SAU relies on GBER aid providers to advise them when such support has been provided.

SAU will commission returns on a quarterly basis from known GBER aid providers in Northern Ireland. However, as an aid provider you may, at any time, tell us about the provision of GBER aid over €500,000, by completing the form overleaf. You do not need to wait until the quarterly exercise to tell us.
