The aim of the Northern Ireland Careers Service Safeguarding Policy is to support the work of Career Advisors in delivery of services linked to young people and vulnerable adults. The Careers Service is committed to practise which protects children and adults.
This policy will inform and guide those involved in services provided by the Career Service NI and can be used by staff and external agents in carrying out their work on behalf on the Career Service.
It will ensure that appropriate procedures are put in place to safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
