The Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Awards 2021 closed for applications on Friday 22 January 2021.

2021 winners

The winners of the 2021 Apprenticeship Awards are:

  • Apprentice Award 2021 - Chantelle McDonagh who works with An Tearmann (STEP) with training from Coalisland Training Services Ltd
  • Higher Level Apprentice Award 2021 - James Matchett who works at Kainos Group plc with training from Ulster University
  • SME Employer Award 2021 - TBC Conversions in partnership with South West College
  • Large Employer Award - Kainos Group plc in partnership with Ulster University

NI Apprenticeship Awards 2021 winners: Chantelle McDonagh - Appprentice Award; Kainos Group PLC and Ulster University - Large Employer award; TBC Conversions and South West College - SME Employer Award;  James Matchett - Higher Level Apprentice Award.

The NI Apprenticeship Awards recognise:

  • apprentices who are making a significant contribution in their workplace and have shown a dedication to excel in their professional development and learning
  • influential partnerships between employers and training providers that support the continuous growth of Skills Development in Northern Ireland.
