The Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Awards 2020 took place on Thursday 6 February 2020 at the Titanic Hotel, Belfast.

The NI Apprenticeship Awards recognise:

  • Apprentices who are making a significant contribution in their workplace and have shown a dedication to excel in their professional development and learning
  • Partnerships between employers and Training Suppliers that support the continuous growth of apprenticeships in Northern Ireland.

2018 Apprentice of the Year winner

Apprentice of the Year 2018 was Tammy Whelan, based at ARUP with training taking place at Belfast Met.

 

 

 

 

2018 Higher Level Apprentice of the Year winner

Higher Level Apprentice of the Year 2018 was Sarah Gillespie, based at Fujitsu and training at North West Regional College.

 

 

 

 

2018 Employer Innovation Award winners

The  joint winners of the Employer Innovation award 2018 were BT and Babcock Training, and Norbrook and Southern Regional College.
