The YPBAS is a Northern Ireland school based survey conducted among 11-16 year olds and covers a wide range of topics relevant to the lives of young people today. The main aim of the survey is to gain an insight into, and understanding of, their behaviour and lifestyle.
Key findings are presented for year 11 and 12 pupils on their confidence making career decisions, the support they require to achieve their career goals, their awareness of the all-age Careers Service, their knowledge of how to contact a Careers Adviser outside school and their university aspirations.
Data was collected by the Central Survey Unit of the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA). More information regarding the YPBAS can be found on the NISRA website.
