The closing date for nominations was 12 noon Friday 18 November 2022.
The ApprenticeshipsNI and Higher Level Apprenticeship programmes are part funded through the Northern Ireland European Social Fund Programme 2014 – 2020 and the Department for the Economy.
Awards ceremony
The awards ceremony will take on Wednesday 29 March 2023.

About the awards
The NI Apprenticeship Awards recognise:
apprentices who are making a significant contribution in their workplace and have shown a dedication to excel in their professional development and learning
influential partnerships between employers and training providers that support the continuous growth of Skills Development in Northern Ireland
apprenticeship mentors who are making a positive contribution to their employer’s business by integrating apprentices whilst developing the professional and technical skills of those apprentice(s)

The winners of the 2022 Apprenticeship Awards are:
Apprentice Award 2022
Lauren Johnston, working towards a Level 3 in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, is employed by Diageo Packaging Belfast and is undergoing her training at South Eastern Regional College.
Higher Level Apprentice Award 2021
Lewis Connelly, working towards his HLA in Food and Drink Manufacturing, is employed by Linden Foods Ltd and is undergoing his training at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise.
SME Employer Award
