The MAP NI was developed by a cross-sectoral working group which included members from central and local government who consulted with stakeholders including industry, UK Government and Ofcom. Its aim was to identify issues which inhibit the rollout of mobile networks and sought to establish solutions to enable better, faster and more consistent mobile coverage throughout Northern Ireland.
