Priority Dispatch Provisions of the 2019 Electricity (Recast) Regulation EU 2019/943

Summary

On 5 June 2019 the European Commission published The Electricity (Recast) Regulation [(EU) 2019/943] on the internal market for electricity which applies from 1 January 2020. The Department for the Economy has responsibility for ensuring domestic law properly reflects EU Law. The purpose of this consultation is to seek comments and views on how we legislate for Article 12 of the Electricity Regulation in relation to Priority Dispatch.
